Our initial screening is always free. During this screening and consultation we will discuss your speech-language concerns. This includes a brief screening tool to assess areas of concern and determine if a comprehensive speech-language evaluation is recommended. Written same day results and recommendations are included.
Comprehensive Evaluation includes testing all areas of concern. This typically takes between 1 and 2 hours and can be completed in multiple sessions if necessary. Included in the comprehensive evaluation is a full written report.
Following a comprehensive evaluation (or following review of evaluation from another SLP) speech therapy services may be initiated. The duration and frequency of these sessions are unique to an individual’s needs and will be discussed following evaluation.
Following a comprehensive evaluation (or following review of evaluation from another SLP) speech therapy services may be initiated. If deemed appropriate on a client to client basis teletherapy is available. Teletherapy speech sessions look very similar to in person sessions and utilize a safe and secure web based platform.
First consultation is always free. Consultation services may include assisting clients and/or their parents in reaching self advocacy goals related to communication. Consultation may also include assisting parents in enriching the language development of their child with at home strategies/supports.
Lorissa is available to present to your staff or group related to a variety of communication topics.
Part-time coverage for school based Speech-Language Pathology positions for maternity/paternity/medical leave is available. Lorissa is also available on an as-needed basis for Evaluation or Therapy Support for local school districts.
