In the time since my last post the world has largely moved to virtual and digital meetings.
It’s incredible how we have all learned to adapt to a world health crisis in terms of maintaining relationships with our families, our friends, and the clients we serve.
With these changes comes the addition of a service delivery model for Speak Your Mind. Currently with a Stay at Home order issued the Governor it is our only service delivery model.
This model is known as Teletherapy.
If you are interested in learning more about Teletherapy and how it is being used to provide quality speech services please contact Lorissa. In short, therapists and clients share a web based software platform in real time and manipulate digital stimuli to address speech and language goals typically addressed in face to face encounters. The sessions are HIPPA compliant, the technology is fast and efficient, and the therapy continues to be functional.
As a licensed SLP in Illinois and Texas Lorissa is able to provide these services to clients residing in either state.
